From training and hunting for lease holders to world class field trials, the Union County Bird Dog Ranch has it all.  Field trials have been held here since 1997 when the property was leased by a group of bird dog enthusiasts. In 2009 the property was purchased by a group of investors. Early 2014 the property was purchased by the Thomas family. Over the years the grounds have been transformed into national caliber bird dog courses. National Championships that have been held at the Union County Bird Dog Ranch include- The AKC Pointing Bird Dog Championship; the Vizsla Club of America National Championship; and the English Cocker Open Nationals. In addition to the national championships, the ranch is home to several regional championships, regional field trials and hunt tests.
